Alexandra Place is a purpose-built building of 64 high quality one and two-bedroom apartments, situated in Woodley. The site is for older people aged over 55, a small proportion of whom may have been diagnosed with a form of dementia.

Our team are here to provide care support when you need and/or want additional help:

  • Domestic help
  • Help with meals
  • Personal care, washing, dressing
  • Help to coordinate your care with other agencies/ professionals who can support you

Company when you want it, your own space when you need it:

Accommodation is available exclusively for people who meet certain criteria set by the Wokingham Borough Council and administered through the Council’s housing register. "A special thanks to the seniors, Cheryl, Chipo and Cynthia, who always get things done. This place would not run the same without them. Then of course there are the superb carers, too many to mention. Every single one is very professional. They treat us with respect, honesty and always have a smile on their face for us. If we have any problems, the team are always there for us. We can come down and talk to them or they will come to us. The team make us feel safe and well cared for. It’s like an extended family.
