Suffolk Lodge
Our skilled and caring staff work with you to enjoy your later life
Our Service
We are located within easy walking distance to Wokingham town centre and well connected to community facilities such as cafés, the library, and churches. The building is divided into five smaller group living areas, offering a homely, secure and accessible environment and better care experience for the people that live at Suffolk Lodge. Our shared lounge, conservatories and dining rooms are perfect for socialising, and our well-presented gardens offer a safe and relaxing space to enjoy the outdoors.
Our approach
At Suffolk Lodge, people are supported to live an active and fulfilled life. A weekly programme of events organised by our dedicated activity coordinators help keep people active and entertained. In addition to marking special occasions, the team regularly host sing-alongs, crafts, baking, garden parties, quizzes, bingo and movie nights. Everyone is welcome to join in as much or as little as they like.
Our catering team work with you to plan and prepare nutritious and tasty meals, which are served in smaller groups to create enjoyable mealtimes. All dishes are cooked from fresh in our own kitchen and catered to specific dietary requirements.
Quality of care
Our skilled and caring team support you to help you enjoy your later life, remember your past in positive ways and enjoy the activities and hobbies that are important to you.
We plan our care and support with you and your loved ones, to make sure that we know and understand what is important. We shape our support around each individual and your preferences, interests and wishes. We have strong working relationships with our local health and social care teams to ensure that our care and support adjusts as your needs change.
The team at Suffolk Lodge is dedicated to delivering the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. We work to an enhanced cleaning protocol and our dedicated infection control champion’s job is to ensure our high standards are maintained.
"May I take the opportunity to thank you all for looking after my father, and all the other people in your care. To say you are doing a wonderful job is an understatement, not only in these troubled times but all of the time every day of the year."
