Westmead Day Service
At Westmead we have a dedicated, trained team who can support long term health conditions, with a full programme of personalised rehabilitation to support individuals to achieve their personal goals.
How do we work?
Our service at Westmead is customer lead. We listen to how people want the service to look, feel and run and actively encourage our customers to lead on projects, planning sessions and identifying daily activities.
Here are some of the activities that we offer…
- Games and quizzes
- Seated exercise
- Arts and crafts including pottery
- Gardening
- Cooking
- Woodwork
- Photography
- Rebound therapy
- Trips to local attractions
We have a large and fully accessible garden that offers individuals the opportunity to relax and enjoy a bit of fresh air or do some gardening.
We also have an exercise area which gives people access to a range of equipment to help maintain fitness and mobility. We will support individuals with any physio plans they may have.

We have always received such a kind and friendly welcome as a whole family to Westmead. You have all been so accommodating and flexible in meeting (my husband’s) needs and he really enjoys his cooking with you.
