Boyn Dementia Service: Listening to Feedback to Improve Lunchtime Experience

At Boyn Dementia Service, the team are committed to providing the best possible care, and that includes ensuring the people we support enjoy their mealtimes. Recently, the team has taken time to listen to feedback about the lunch options available, asking people what they like or dislike about the food, and whether any changes are needed. Following each meal, people are given the chance to say how much they liked the food, the team gather feedback using images, coloured stickers and written and verbal feedback.

Ken said, "It's alright, I say if its good or not." Vic added, "I like mincemeat and they have nice carrots."

This valuable insight has informed future food ordering and meal planning, ensuring that people's preferences and any special requests are accommodated wherever possible.
