David Cook appointed as Optalis chairman

We are delighted to announce that David Cook has been appointed as the new permanent chairman of Optalis, which provides adult social care services on behalf of Wokingham Borough Council and the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead.
His role will be to ensure the efficient running of the Optalis company board, working with the executive team and shareholder board. Previously director of strategy and marketing at 3M and most recently chairman of the Economic and Skills Development Partnership at Bracknell Forest Borough Council, David brings a wealth of experience to the role.
Cllr David Coppinger, cabinet member for adult services and health at the Royal Borough, said: “I would like to welcome David to the Optalis board and look forward to seeing how his wealth of experience can help us work in partnership to offer excellent services to residents."

The Optalis current chairman, Anthony Pollock, will become chairman of the shareholder board.
