Introducing Bella Dinu, our new Peripatetic Team Leader
14 July 2021
"I have worked in various care settings for the last twelve years, from hospitals to care homes, so I have a wide knowledge base to support people I work with. I worked my way up, starting as a carer, then becoming a team leader and then a manager.
I am now a Peripatetic Team Leader, which means that I travel to services, working in a number of care settings most days. We look at standardisation, compliance with CQC, checking what the home has in place and what it needs. If we see that they need some help in areas I'm the extra pair of hands to help out.
I really enjoy team management, I get a real sense of pride when I see people grow and develop. I feel a sense of achievement when I am able to support my team members to achieve new tasks or develop new skills and I hope to be able to do this with the team we are building at Optalis.
Working at Optalis has been great, everyone is welcoming and helpful. I work with lots of different teams in the organisation, from our services to the teams at the head office, so I am getting to know lots of new faces.
