Westmead's summer event

Westmead Community Lives Day Service celebrated summer with a get-together this week. At the event people made use of the fabulous outdoor space available at Westmead, enjoying the summer weather, a BBQ, and the company of good friends and family. The highlight of the day was a visiting petting farm, where everyone enjoyed interacting with ducklings, lambs, goats, a donkey, a pony, and various smaller animals. Alan, commented that "The donkeys are lovely," as he fed them. Goliath the tortoise meandered around the event, delighting attendees with his calm presence. Several people expressed how wonderful it was to get together and enjoy the day.
